Plan your trip
A simple sequence of decisions, in the order they usually come up. No prices, no packages, no agency recommendations.
Step by step
1. Choose the season
The northern and southern hemispheres have opposite winters. That changes everything: flights, school holidays and snow type.
2. Pick the destination
Distance, transfer to the resort and beginner facilities matter more than mountain size on a first trip.
3. Book lessons
In busy weeks, slots run out. Booking ahead keeps you from improvising on arrival.
4. Sort clothing and equipment
Clothing by the three-layer method; technical equipment usually rented at the destination, especially for children.
5. Adjust expectations
Short days, frequent breaks and a plan B for bad weather. That usually saves the trip.
Mountain conditions, resort rules and availability change. Always confirm official information before travelling.
